	A simple story might help explain this most anfractuous crisis. Unfortunately, that story didn't end well... Paulson, it seems, continues to worship Wall Street, offering a plan that is uniformed by past failings and that may well benefit Wall Street, but in the opinion of some very smart people, won't benefit anyone else. Maybe this is a chance to put a stop to the idolatry...
