"Power, money, persuasion, supplication, persecution -- these can lift at a colossal humbug -- push it a little -- weaken it a little over the course of a century; but only laughter can blow it to rags and atoms at a blast. Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand." -Mark Twain
"The political and commercial morals of the United States are not merely food for laughter, they are an entire banquet."
- Mark Twain
Why is it that all of the Bush Adminstration scandals eventually reek of Rove? He proves himself again and again to be the beau ideal Machiavellian. Not that it wasn't forseen: Ron Suskind in 2003 detailed Rove's philosophy (for a severe lack of a better word), and its pervasion (and thus, perversion) of the Bush Adminstration, making them the 'Mayberry Machiavellis.'
There is some redemption, however, in seeing ''MC Rove'' gyrate his pale gelatinous body here.
